We take our dogs to exhibitions when they’re 4 months old. This is important not only so that we can verify and confirm that our dogs are within the optimum parameters, but above all to teach them how to behave in crowded places, with other dogs, and lots of noise and different sounds. Exhibitions can be very stressful for most dogs but once they have been introduced to such events in a responsible manner, they can be an excellent means of socialisation.
